Matthew 2:1-12 NKJV

Matthew 2:11 (NKJV)
And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Welcome to Nambucca Baptist Church for our worship service. Today we celebrate the visit of the Magi to the infant Jesus an event in the church calendar that we call the Epiphany. Wherever you are or whenever you find this service please join with us and be a part of our church family.

The challenge for today is in recognising where we sit on the spectrum of recognising Jesus as our king of kings. Do we respond like Herod, his chief priests and scribes, or the Magi who fell to their knees and worshipped Jesus. You will need to watch the video to get the answers.

This is where we would normally take up a collection but as you can see we can’t pass an offering bag around online. We have, however, provided a secure online giving facility for you. You can either use the app on your smartphone or just click on the green button on the screen. We have been blessed by the way so many of you have managed to give in various ways so that we can continue with the work of the Lord here in our church and beyond our walls.
