Psalms Week 8
Psalm 100, NKJV
Welcome to Nambucca Baptist Church for our worship service this 31st of October 2021. The day started off a bit chilly but quickly warmed up by the time the service started. We had a wonderful morning and it was easy to sense the presence of God in the room.
Today I preached on Psalm 100, or the Jubilate Deo for those of us who have an Anglican heritage. This is a short but very encouraging Psalm inviting us to be thankful, joyful and noisy as we enter His presence for worship. We are encouraged to serve the Lord with gladness, to be a cheerful giver, lending a helping hand to those in need, showing mercy to those who are struggling, practicing random acts of kindness wherever you go – not out of obligation or duty – but out of gratitude for what God has done for you.
Please join our church family as we gather to worship. You may be online, but the experience can be just the same as being in the room if you let it and enter into His presence.
This is where we would normally take up a collection but as you can see we can’t pass an offering bag around online. We have, however, provided a secure online giving facility for you. You can either use the Tithe.ly app on your smartphone or just click on the green button on the screen. We have been blessed by the way so many of you have managed to continue to give in various ways so that we can continue with the work of the Lord here in our church and beyond our walls.
I thought that it would be nice to include this video clip that I referenced in the Sermon.
