John 10: 11-21
Welcome to our service for 26th July 2020. Today we continue with our series on the seven I AM statements of Jesus as recorded in John’s gospel. The subject for today is the passage from John 10: 11-21 where Jesus calls Himself the Good Shepherd. As always, with anything that Jesus says there is an awful lot going on.
Even though it is cold and wet outside, we enjoy a warm welcome from Meryl who later leads us in prayer. Anne reads the scriptures for us and we have some great songs for worship today. We hope that you enjoy our service; if you do then please comment in the comments section below and share it with your family and friends.
This is where we would normally take up a collection but as you can see we can’t pass an offering bag around online. We have, however, provided a secure online giving facility for you. You can either use the Tithe.ly app on your smartphone or just click on the green button on the screen. We have been blessed by the way so many of you have managed to continue to give in various ways so that we can continue with the work of the Lord here in our church and beyond our walls.
It was so good to be able to invite those present at the service down to the manse for a cuppa and a tasty snack. Unfortunately, I cannot offer you the same online, however, I do have something a little bit special for you that those attending this morning did not get to see. A music clip from John Michael Talbot titled ” I AM the Good Shepherd” I hope that you enjoy it. Feel free to leave a comment down below. The feedback helps us in our planning these services for you and gives us some encouragement as well.
