(Testimony from my stay in Hospital)

Hebrews 10:19-25 (nkjv)

Welcome to Nambucca Baptist Church service for Sunday 15th November 2020. This morning we had a Communion Service so we encourage you to prepare the elements at home or wherever you are and join with us around the Table of the Lord. No matter where you may be in the world you can be a part of our church family as you join with us to worship and celebrate the ministry and sacrifice of the Lord Jesus today. Before the service, we prayed for the presence of the Holy Spirit to fill the room and to minister to us even as we sought to minister to our Father God in worship. There was a wonderful gentle presence of God and a general feeling of great love in the church today. We trust that this will come through in the video clips that we recorded here for you.

The message will be a little different as I spent most of the week in the hospital and was really quite ill for a while there. Nevertheless, I am back on deck now, albeit a little slower than usual, and our message this morning is by way of testimony together with two lessons that I learned whilst I was in the hospital.

Meryl has selected a beautiful set of worship songs for us today and she also welcomes us to church and leads us in prayer. Anne read the scriptures for us today.

This is where we would normally take up a collection but as you can see we can’t pass an offering bag around online. We have, however, provided a secure online giving facility for you. You can either use the Tithe.ly app on your smartphone or just click on the green button on the screen. We have been blessed by the way so many of you have managed to continue to give in various ways so that we can continue with the work of the Lord here in our church and beyond our walls.

Thank you for staying with us to the end of the service. We trust that you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you in this format. since you cannot share in the beautiful tea cakes that Glenys baked for morning tea, I have a brand new video clip from Maverick City music. It was only released two days ago and is a wonderful arrangement of traditional worship songs.

If you would like to tell us that you appreciate the efforts that we make to bring you these services each week, please feel free to comment in the box provided below. Feedback is always welcome.

Blessings
