David Series Week 1

Welcome to Nambucca Baptist Church this Sunday the 10th of January 2021. It was a beautiful morning and this morning we took the opportunity to pray for two of our members who are unwell and are preparing to go to the hospital for some much-needed surgery. If you are not a member of our church but you would like us to pray for you, please leave a prayer request in the comments section below. We also have a member in self-isolation for a few days until we get the test results. We continue to affirm Psalms 91 over our congregation and our community, as we trust in God’s provision of protection for his people.

This morning we started a new preaching series on the life of David. This morning we focus on David’s heart attitude to God in total contrast to Saul. Despite his many sins, David remained a man with a heart who wanted to please God and He was always ready to repent when he realized what he had done. He remains the only person in the bible described as a man after God’s own heart.

This is where we would normally take up a collection but as you can see we can’t pass an offering bag around online. We have, however, provided a secure online giving facility for you. You can either use the Tithe.ly app on your smartphone or just click on the green button on the screen. We have been blessed by the way so many of you have managed to continue to give in various ways so that we can continue with the work of the Lord here in our church and beyond our walls.

We hope that you have been blessed by our service today and that you felt the presence of God, as you entered into worship and prayer with us. Unfortunately, I can’t invite you to stay for a cuppa and morning tea snacks but I do have a little treat for you. Our friends Sergio and Rhoda in Israel, visit the other Bethlehem, the one in Galilee.

.Good sermon,liked it.
just a note the camera needs to be raised up to see the notice screen, and the camera goes out of focus from time to time.
